Yes, their prices are cheaper per session than many med spas, but you will pay more overall. Why? Because they run the laser on a very low session for many sessions, I was told “to lighten and soften up the hair.” This makes absolutely no sense since laser hair removal doesn’t work as well on lighter, softer hair since it targets melanin. More reputable places will start higher intensities and complete the treatment in 6-10 sessions. The laser is at high enough intensities to actually stop hair growth and you just have to keep coming back to treat hair in a different growth cycle. Naturally, I saw no results for the majority of my treatments at Simplicity. I asked for increased laser intensities after several treatments with zero results and was told no. I finally started lying and saying I was seeing some softening of hair and then they turned the laser up for my last few appointments. Shockingly, I finally had some results. However, as I had some hair loss, I could see strips of hair missed by careless technicians. I was also burned once on my leg because a technician didn’t take the time to mark it off and went over the same area twice. If you read the positive reviews, you will see they are about how nice staff is. They are nice. But they are not knowledgeable and don’t get results. Even if a Medspa costs you more per session, you will go to less sessions and have better results. Lastly, their scheduling system is an absolute nightmare! You have to call a national call center and sit on hold forever. I’ve held for upwards of 30 minutes before. Again, save your time.✭ By Rachel Bryant (2 months ago)I love Simplicity Laser! I then got influenced to try another “big name” injector in downtown Boise and that was a horrible mistake. This very well known injector dropped my brows (I had no eyelids!) and she blamed it on my age and a “fat pocket” when I expressed my concern. I texted Allyson explaining the situation she suggest we wait for the poorly injected botox to wear off and we will treat again after. I went back to Om Spa last week and was reminded why I shouldn’t have ever left. I’m already seeing great results, I have no 11’s and STILL have eyelids.
